British Heart Foundation

This Friday our office building is doing its bit to raise money and awareness for the British Heart Foundation by signing up to the Wear it. Beat it. campaign.

It’s a very worthy cause, as every 3 minutes in the UK someone suffers a heart attack, with nearly a third proving fatal. The British Heart Foundation is the UK’s leading charity, challenging heart disease. It funds research, education, care and awareness campaigns. You can learn more about their work on their website.

Richard will be proudly dressed in red, but as red just isn’t my colour, it is noticeably absent from my wardrobe. Rather than spending money that could better be donated to the cause, on something red we’ve decided to get baking!

As visitors come to welcome us into our new office this week, we will be accepting voluntary donations to the BHF fund in return for our tasty treats. 15s, ginger nut tiffin and flapjacks are on the menu. And it’s all for a good cause! Go on, treat yourself!

We’ll make sure someone is in our office at Design Works every day this week between 10am-3pm, so you can pop in to celebrate with us and contribute to a good cause too!
